Purpose
STVG works to advance and protect human rights, equal opportunities, and human dignity. We focus on identifying inequality and injustice, increasing knowledge and awareness, and supporting careful, rule-of-law grounded solutions.

The foundation’s purpose is to advance and protect human rights and equal
treatment, and everything directly or indirectly connected to that.

Board & structure
Board
STVG is managed by a board. The board is responsible for:
- the strategic direction of the foundation;
- decision-making on activities and spending;
- legal and external representation.
Board members do not receive compensation for their work. Reasonable expenses made for the foundation can be reimbursed.
Advisory group
To support the board, STVG works with an advisory group of engaged professionals. The advisory group:
- serves as a content and reflection sounding board.
The composition may change depending on expertise and needs.
Financial principles
- funds are used exclusively to pursue the foundation’s purpose;
- the foundation aims for transparency about spending and priorities;
- unnecessary overhead is avoided;
- decisions are made based on demonstrable societal impact.
STVG is non-profit and operates independently from political, commercial, or religious interests.
